A Trip to Chiling Again

一年过后，再一次去Chiling Waterfall。本来上次是为了Chua快要出国升学所办最后的outing，可惜他要提早飞去德国开课，所以他没跟着来。

这次就带Chua来体验一下可称得上Selangor最好的瀑布！一同前行的有CB，Hor，Chua的弟弟。

坐在车后面，风吹袭的感觉很舒服，而且路边风景显然跟坐在车里不一样。

这次，我们已不是菜鸟，而是Chiling Fall的专家了。至少不用再担心会迷路(╥﹏╥)
当天早上去Chua的家（他驾车），可是一大早大家就要一起骗他妈说，去爬山不是去瀑布玩水。每次去短程旅行都得骗某个人的妈妈。ಠ_ಠ

大致上是跟上一次没什么变化，就多了一个以塑料品的数量来计算需付的deposit（不便宜，那时我们都差不多RM50了）。只要在离开时，能证明没丢弃在森林里就能拿回。美好的大自然人人有责啊。

 第一个crossing。有兴趣要去这瀑布的话，记得这两个忠告——“分岔路，选左边” 和 “迷路的话，就跟着河流走就行” 呵呵这是专家的话。(─‿‿─)

每次我读牌上的警告，在想如果真的下雨，而且身处在森林里，那时连要出去都不能了。(︺︹︺)

一路上看到三块石头叠在河边。这里的人很亲切，如果不知要不要过河，就留意有没有上图的石头叠在一起，有就过河。

其实，原本是要过河六次才能到瀑布，但现在第一的渡河已建起桥。所以比较轻松.
还有的是过了桥后，到第二渡河有一段长时间（差不多20分钟），不要自以为迷路了。
过了河第二次后，其余就不用很长时间就到。

 看上图，在那里真的有很多鱼。很多到一手进水都能碰到鱼了。能不能抓是另一回事，可是要放生。

Another Waterfall. In past, I had always listened many good comments about this waterfall as the best in Selangor! Indeed it is challenging. If a first timer there and does not inquire for direction at registration, a person would definitely lose his direction.

Actually, this was a sudden plan of outing for a friend before leaving to Germany, but he had his flight few days before this outing. So just 4 of us, and thank Brandon so much for providing the transport.

We departed from my house (PJ). We took the road to Rawang, and then to Kuala Kubu Baru. The whole journey was about 1 hour, and it is easy way as most of the way were straight road all the way after Rawang.

From the road to the actual entrance, will take less than 10 minutes walk (not too sure). Went straight to register. Apparently, people can get lost in this area, it is required to register and write check-in time and check-out when leaving. There is registration fee of RM1 per person.

Let me give you an advice. At the very start after entering on track to waterfall, TAKE LEFT when reach to a split. Take right and will get lost in the Jungle, said by the person in registration counter.

 The 1st waterfall. It took us around 1 hour 30 minutes to reach the 1st waterfall.

It is option to go for 2nd Waterfall but it is a tough road, really have to be cautious and beware of your steps.

We are really thankful to the "guai lou" that helped us and his group of friends(colleagues) too, or we could really get lost (not really but maybe taking the wrong way that takes longer time). Such nice people they are, giving us food, showing us the way.

We were praying so hard for the day not to rain (It was raining everyday in Selangor that period of time), grateful that it rained right after we left!

It is a really good place to go, recommended place to unwind and escape from hectic city for relaxing weekend. =P

Kanching Falls

I had wanted to plan a trip after my exam, it was actually to Ipoh but postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, and went to Kanching Waterfalls instead.

25/6/2012 (Tuesday)
I chose to go on weekday but no weekend, is just a simple reason, avoiding the crowd!

That day, 8am, we gathered at my house and because of yat yow coming late. We left to LRT at 8.30am. Reach at Pasar Seni LRT station, and loitered around to have breakfast.

After that, straight to the bus stop. We were so lucky, that eventually got a bus that moment we reached. Kanchong falls is really a convenient location to unwind and relax away from city as possible taking public transport there.

*As guidance, after step out from LRT station, while walking towards China street (茨厂街), Bangkok Bank (tall building) is kinda obvious from view. The bus stop is in front of the bank, take Metrobus no. 43, the fare is just only RM1.50.

It was indeed a great place to unwind. We saw a lot of mini-waterfalls but decided to walk to as far as possible. As continue walking, we reached to a fall that had no anyone else but only us. Awesome! After that, continue hiking (oh ya, there is no more stairs after 5 or 6 falls) till the end! Great experience.

Oh ya, we have to pay entrance fees. It was RM1 per person. 

As usual, a charge of RM0.50 per person. I must really voice it out, the condition was same as my previous school, at least maintain and keep it hygiene!

8 Hours —— Journey to Lang Tengah Island

On the last Saturday night, We left and headed to Lang Tengah Island, Terengganu. It was considered as one of the most exhausted trips that i ever had in my life time. It took 8 HOURS from my house to there!! Imagine "Trap" yourself in a car for 8 HOURS!! It was like "OMG, I have spent more time sitting in a car than laying on the bed." Ouch, backbone hurts.

It was a 3 days 3 nights trip. So i was skipping 2 days of classes, though I missed my friends there. When we reached, We were brought to the jetty and took the boat to Lang Tengah Island, located between Pualu Redang and Perhentian.

Snorkeling was the main activities there. Though kinda tiring but fun. Fishes and corals were so beautiful. Sad to say, I do not own a water resistant camera. Pictures could only captured in my mind. 

There is one thing I really wanted to say. This was the very first trip I went along with my whole family. I never had any trip with both of my parents together ever in my life before this. Simply to say, family problem since was a little boy. Do appreciate every moments with your family or else you will regret about it. 

P.S. Lang Tengah Island is one of the great place with beautiful sceneries. Unwind yourself there. =)
